Dear LDB,
Did you know that those are your initials? I learned that yesterday after you and mom brought home the fridge-y magnet things. I was listening from the sunny spot on the carpet you know, and momma talked about the alphabet song, that went on and on and on and on, and then she talked about the letters in your name. Did you know that if you reverse the letter L and D in your name it’s actually your Auntie’s initials too? Momma says your name holds a lot of meaning.
My name starts with a K and then after that I’m not sure. My name came with me when mom and dad adopted me. They loved that I had a happy name and that you can use a lot of nicknames with my name! You say my name a lot differently than the other humans, but I can hear your high notes from all over the house or down the street so I know it’s me that you need. I like that about how you say my name. Oh, and thanks for sharing all of your scramble-y eggs this morning, that was great!
